Course:
Further training in modern diagnostics of leukemias and lymphomas 2026
Description:
This course provides participants with an overview of current diagnostic approaches in the field of cytomorphology of blood and bone marrow. It also covers techniques such as immunophenotyping of leukemias, lymphomas and PNH, as well as cytogenetic/chromosomal analysis and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). In addition, there are comprehensive and exciting insights into the world of molecular genetic methods - both in diagnostics and in research. Another focus of the program is on the possibilities of automation and future developments: What role does the digital infrastructure already play today, and what role do artificial intelligence and LLM (Large Language Mode) play for safe patient care? In addition, participants will have the opportunity to get to know one of the most modern laboratories in Germany at close quarters.
